Mrs. Freda M. Myers
HUGHESVILLE -- Mrs. Freda M. Myers, 86, 315 South Main Street, died at 7:26 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 1988, at Divine Providence Hospital, where she was admitted Aug. 8. Her husband, LaRue J. Myers, died Dec. 19, 1967.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church, Strawbridge, and also attended Christ United Methodist Church.
Born at Strawbridge, Dec. 19, 1901, she was the daughter of James M. and M. Jane Neufer Myers.
Surviving is a brother, J. Kenneth Myers, of Hughesville.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at McCarty-Thomas', 557 East Water Street, with the Rev. Michael D. Gingerich, her pastor, and the Rev. Arthur E. Gladfelter, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
