Beatrice J. Deri
Beatrice J. Deri, 80, of Allentown died Wednesday, April 30, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of George F. Deri. They were married 60 years last May.
She was a receptionist for the former Lehigh Structural Steel, Allentown, before retiring.
Born in Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late John and Pearl (McHenry) Eckman.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Allentown, and its Women and Mission Group and Intercity 4-H Group. She also was a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors: Husband and sisters, Dena Speering in North Carolina and Elizabeth, wife of Franklin Heintzelman of Anderson, S.C.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the church. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown.
