Mrs. Edna E. Keiffer
SWISSDALE-- Mrs. Edna E. Keiffer, 73, of Star Route, Lock Haven, Swissdale area, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at her home. She had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage four years ago and had been in declining health for some time.
The widow of John J. Keiffer, she was born Nov. 7, 1902, in Spring Mills, a daughter of the Rev. John and Nancy Waltman Fenstamaker.
Mrs. Keiffer lived in Swissdale most of her life and was an employe in the sewing department of Woolrich Woolen Mills for 28 years, retiring eight years ago. She was a member of the Swissdale United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, John J. Keiffer Jr. of Star Route, Lock Haven, Swissdale; four daughters, Mrs. Clair J. Schrack of Newton Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Walter A. Crawford Jr., Mrs. Ira L. Carpenter and Mrs. Malcolm Myers, all of Swissdale; one sister, Mrs. Della Chambers of Island Route, Lock Haven; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
