Both the Stanton Family Tree (https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/174298296/person/262668106283/facts) and Find A Grave (listing for Frank Edgar/Griffith "Nick" Carter) list him as Frank Edgar/Griffith Carter. His obituary (obtained from Find A Grave) lists him as Frank G. Carter. Don't know where the Edgar and Nick are from.

Frank G. Carter

Frank G. (Nick) Carter died suddenly in his office in Carson City Sunday.

He was born in Johnstown, Pa., October 29, 1904, and had been a resident of Carson City for 22 years.

He was an insurance agent in Carson City and was active in civic affairs. He also took part in Little Theatre productions in Carson City.

He is survived by his widow, Janice, and children, Judith, Mark and Stephen all of Carson City. He is also survived by his father, Frank Carter in Florida and brother, Mark of Baltimore, Md.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.in the St. Peters Episcopal Church in Carson City.

Rev. Robert Pumphrey will officiate.

Burial will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery.
