Saturday services set for former Millville woman
Lois P. Johnson, 80, of 222 Hughes St., Williamsport, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Williamsport Hospital.
Lois and her husband, Warren E. Johnson, celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on Sept. 11.
She was born Nov. 11, 1924, in Pine Township, Columbia County, a daughter of Benjamin and Stella Kinney Piatt.
Lois was a graduate of Millville High School. She worked in the Williamsport High School cafeteria for 24 years, until her retirement in 1989.
Lois was a member of Faxon-Kenmar United Mehodist Church, where she taught Sunday School.
Surviving are two sons: Wayne E. of Benton, and Jay B. of Cogan Station; a sister, Ona Reichenbach of Benton; a brother, Arnold D. Piatt of Benton; and one grandson, Brian W. Johnson.
A celebration of Lois' life will begin with a visitation on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maneval Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Ronald O. Doan, officiating. Interment will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park. The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist Church, 1301 Clayton Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.
