Dora K. Mordan
Dora K. Mordan, 82, Fernville, died at 7:10 a.m. Saturday at Bloomsburg Hospital where she had been a patient for five days.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Sarah (Miller) Krum of the Cooper Township area.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Atwood Ruckle in 1928 and Orville Mordan on March 6, 1969.
She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Harold A. Ruckle, Danville RD 4 and Arthur L. Ruckle, Bloomsburg RD 7; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Jennie Haines, Bloomsburg; three brothers, Pierce Krum, Bloomsburg, Myron Krum, Bloomsburg RD and Arthur Krum, Danville RD and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Harry W. Rishel Funeral Home, Eighth and Market streets, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Thomas E. Light Jr. of the Buckhorn Lutheran Parish officiating. Burial will follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery.
There will be no viewing on Monday.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 a.m. until the time of service.
Find A Grave also notes that her name at the time of death was Dora Mordan, but her headstone reads Dora Ruckle.
