William Otway Reeves, 68, of 2514 Henry st., president of the Reeves Manufacturing Co which bottles Coca-Cola, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday in a Dallas hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Blanchard Boyer and Jack Russell officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be L.D. Wilburn, H.C. Laing, Harold Jenkins, Roy Lambert, Hubert Greer and Billy Joe Ivy, all employees of the Reeves company.

Honorary pallbearers will be other company employees and Dr. Charles T. Kennedy, G.C. Harris, Allen Clark, John Clayton, Harold Clayton, R.L. Warren Sr., George Betts, Fred Thomas and Sam R. Alexander.

Reeves was the son of the late William Penn Reeves and Mrs. Minnie Reeves. He began working with his father and grandfather in the Reeves Manufacturing Co. as a young man.

He attended Greenville public schools, Wesley and Burleson colleges in Greenvile, and Binham Military Academy, Ashville, N.C.

Reeves was a 50-year member of the Fred Ende I.O.O.F. Lodge, and a member of Greenville Masonic Lodge, Knights of Templar in Dallas, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his widow, the former Ray Priscilla Minkert, and two sons, William P. and Erik Reeves, all of Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. Robert B. Hayter of Paris; and eight grandchildren.
