Husband of Former Ella Kraus Dies In Michigan
Frank L. Earley, 80, whose wife is the former Ella Snyder Kraus, a resident of Henry several years ago, passed away in his sleep at his home at 98 N. Clay street, Coldwater, Mich., Sunday, Aug. 22.
A native of Coldwater, he spent his entire life in that community. He served as a seargent with the 32nd Michigan Volunteer infantry during the Spanish American war. He served for many years as a clerk at the Coldwater postoffice. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Modern Woodmen of America and the United Commercial Travelers. He attended St. Mark's Episcopal church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 24, at Shattuck-Liverman funeral home with the Rev. Maxwell Brown, pastor of St. Mark's, in charge. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery, Coldwater, Mich.
Survivors include his widow, Ella, to whom he was married in 1928; a son by a former marriage, Max Earley, and granddaughter, Jeanne Earley of Royal Oaks, Mich.; a step daughter, Mrs. Lois Kraus Fitzgerald and three step-grandchildren.
