Harriette passed away on December 31, 2003 after a long illness. She was born on May 4, 1922 in Coldwater, Michigan. She was a lifelong resident of Lansing; married Merritt Hineline; attended MSU and taught in the Lansing Public Schools for more than 25 years. Harriette was active in Work of Christ Community for many years and helped to organize their home school program. She is survived by her daughters, JoBess Taylor and Kathryne Hineline, and grandsons, Matthew and Mark Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw, Lansing. Visiting hours will be on Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
