Former Henry Resident Dies in Michigan
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Ella E. Earley, 75, at Coldwater, Mich. Mrs. Earley (formerly Mrs. Louis Kraus of Henry) died Aug. 31, 1959 at Coldwater Health Center after an illness of five days. Death was due to coronary occlusion.
A daughter of Henry and Rose Olmstead Snyder, the deceased, was born in Branch county, Mich., July 22, 1884.
From the time of her marriage to Louis Kraus in 1907 until his death in 1925 she resided in Henry. After the death of her husband she returned to Branch county, Michigan where she has since resided.
She was married to Frank Earley in Coldwater in April 1928. He died in 1954.
Mrs. Earley was a member of First Methodist church in Coldwater and of the Royal Neighbors.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lois Fitzgerald of Coldwater; a step-son, Max Earley, Royal Oak, Mich.; two sisters, Leona Snyder of Coldwater and Mrs. Dolly Wilkinson, Santa Ana, Calif.; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Five brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at Livermore-Gillespie funeral home in Coldwater with the Rev. Albert Butterfield officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery at Coldwater.
