Notes for John Adelbert Quimby
Some sources give his birth date as February 28, including Find A Grave (listing for John Quimby). Draft registrations and Social Security have February 21, which seems more authoritative. There are also two versions of his birth place: Coldwater or Bethel, both in Branch County, Michigan. Don't know which is right, but his older sister was born in Bethel a couple of years earlier.
