Notes for Jimmie Lee Dotson

Jim was born to Jerry and Patsy Dotson in Perryton, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Denice. They were married as teenagers on December 3, 1966. Their children include, Debbie and Darrin Clark, Kenneth and Trina Dotson, and Douglas Dotson and ex-daughter-in-law, Sara Taylor. Grandchildren include, Michael, Haylie and Marissa Clark, Kamren, Kody and Tara Dotson, Douglas Jr., Mariah, Alicia and Tatum Dotson. Jimmie is also survived by his mother, Patsy; his sisters, Donna (Mike); Juanita (John); and Nancy (Mike); plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Jim graduated from Lassen High in Susanville, Calif. He served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was active in Little League and Royal Ranger Pinewood Derbys. He loved his children, and every grandchild was number one in his life. He called his wife his teenage sweetheart. He worked for Louisiana Pacific for 20 years and for the past 9 years, he worked as a Shipping Clerk for Lumberg Family Farms. He truly cared about the people he worked with. Jim was preceded in death by his son, Larry and his father, Jerry. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
