Robert Anderson Sisk
MORTONS GAP, Ky. -- Robert Anderson Sisk, 69, of Mortons Gap died at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at his residence.
He was born in Hopkins County on Jan. 24, 1931, to the late Elbert Sisk and Ida Lee Shadrick Sisk.
He was a carpenter for General Construction and attended New Lakeside General Baptist Church in Mortons Gap.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mabel Walls, and one brother, Charles Sisk.
He is survived by five daughters, Roberta Fulkerson of Madisonville, Judy Hoover of Mortons Gap, Becky Matthews of Clarksville, Tenn., Bonnie Yost of Harrodsburg, Ky., and Martha "Kristy" Butler of Greenville, Ga.; three sons, Robert Sisk Jr. of Nortonville, Ky., Charles Sisk of Crosby, Texas, and Melvin Sisk of Nebo, Ky.; two sisters, Winnie Brown of Mt. Carmel, Ill., and Nell Embry of Cannelton, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at New Lakeside General Baptist Church in Mortons Gap with the Revs. Carl Hoover and Harry Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, Ky.
Pallbearers will be James Dugger, Clint Clevenger, Craig Scott, Henry Walls, Michael Pyott, and Willie Sink.
