Kathryn "Cassie" Talley
Kathryn "Cassie" Talley, 68, of Cleveland, died unexpectedly Thursday evening in a local hospital. She was a member of the East Side Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nancy White, brother, Billy M. White, and three sisters, Ruth Kile, Ruby Rose and Margaret Baker.
Survivors include a daughter: Ron Claire Talley of Boone, N.C.; son-in-law, Dr. Unal Boya of Boone; brother-in-law: T.E. "Ed" Baker of Knoxville; sister-in-law: Jeanette White of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with minister Richard May officiating. Interment will be in the Beaty Cemetery on Freewill Road with Jack Kile, Chris Baker, Charlie Finnell, Ronnie Baird, Steve McNabb and Jerry McGaha serving as pallbearers.
