He was the son of Henry Forest (Frank) (born Ind)& Elavania Knauss (born Pa) Olds.
He first married Mary Kathryn Mills in 1870, and left her in 1883 for Margaret Ann Montgomery whom he married in 1886.
By Mary Kathryn Mills he had six children, John H. Olds, Nina Mae Olds, Arthur Marion Olds, Guy Duran Olds, Eugene Lewis Olds, and my grandfather Elijah Everett Olds. He left Mary Mills after she gave birth to Elijah and married Mary Montgomery and they had six children also. Dorsey Forrest Olds, Adrian Olds, Ola Preston Olds, Lester C. Olds, Van Valarie Olds, and Lewis Cass Olds Jr.
