Notes for Dewey Delaney Faus

Last rites for Dewey FAUS, who was killed Saturday night in a automobile accident south of Spearman, was held Tuesday afternoon in the Union Church at Spearman. Brother Leonard Turner conducted the services assisted by Rev. Donald Dibbins.
Mr. FAUS once lived in old Ochiltree and lived all his life in Beaver, Hansford and Ochiltree counties.
Pallbearers were William MARTIN, L. D. PIERCE, J. H. MARTIN, Leon BOWLING, Pierce ROBERSON and Guy JONES.
He is survived by three brothers: Sam, William and Rueben, all of Spearman; and three sisters, Mrs. Effie COX, Weiser, Idaho, Mrs. John BUSCHMAN, Spearman and Mrs. J. W. MELTON, Los Animas, Colorado.
Interment was in the Ochiltree cemetery.
"Faus Genealogical Data" listed him as Dewey Delaney Faus, whereas Find A Grave lists him as Dewey Delavey Faus. I don't know which is right, but Delaney sounds more reasonable. "Faus Genealogical Data" also said that Dewey and Ella had no children.
