Wilhemina was the daughter of Charles J. and Emma "Sommerlatte" Meier.

She married Englebert Fuchs, Englebert was born in Switzerland. No record has been found of his death and a date of birth has not been established. The Couple were the parent's of a least five known children.

One child Minard Fuchs, was killed in action during World War II. He was born in 1919.

Obituary;

Funeral Services for Mrs. Wilamena (Mamie) Fuchs were held at 10 A.M. Friday, Feb 9th at the chapel of Ettinger Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Quilter officiating. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery.

The former Miss Wilamena Meirer was born in Sealy, Apr. 12, 1897, and was raised in Sealy, and attended Sealy Public Schools.

On Dec. 15, 1912 she married Englebert Fuchs in Columbus, Texas, He passed away Jan. 30, 1947. She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs Fuchs passed away in the Sealy Hospital, Wednesday, Feb. 7th, she was 70 years, 9 months, and 25 days old.

Survivors are her sep mother Mrs. Annie Meirer of Cameron; four daughters; Mrs Catherine Barrett, Mrs Chester Rosenick both of Sealy, and Mrs. Emil Orsak of East Bernard; two sons Frank and Raymond Fuchs of Sealy, three sisters Mrs. Lillie Gann of Cameron, Mrs Orville Harper of Temple, and Mrs. Paul Hansen of Houston, thirteen grand children and twenty one great grand children.
