Friedrich A. "Fritz" Sommerlatte, was born in Worlitz, Anhalt-Dessau, Prussia, which is now part of Germany. He was the son of August Sommerlatte and Caroline Mering Sommerlatte. Fritz never married, nor did he have any descendants. He had one brother.
Fritz's grand-parents were, Christoph August Sommerlatte, and Johanne Louise Jetzschmann Sommerlatte.
