Services for Ott Charles Reeves Jr., 78, of Bryan are set for 3 p.m. Sunday in the Astin Chapel at the Bryan City Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Richers of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mr. Reeves died Friday in St. Joseph Manor. He was born in Ada, Okla., and lived in Bryan 55 years. He was a marine engineer, real estate broker and farmer. He graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kingspoint, N.Y., and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his wife. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Reeves of Dallas; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Reeves-Stanford of Boca Raton, Fla., and Blair Reeves of Bryan; three brothers, Bill Reeves of Seguin, Philip Reeves of Longview and David Reeves of Canyon Lake; a sister, Sammy Galbraith of Louisiana; and four grandchildren.
