Dr. Jesse Titterington, Retired Physician, Dies
Dr. Jesse Benton Titterington died Sunday morning at a Dallas hospital after a long illness. He was the son of Daniel and Sarah Katharine Titterington, and was born on March 12, 1868 on a Dallas County farm. Dr. Titterington attended Centre College in Danville, KY., and Belvue Medical College in New York City. He practiced medicine in Dallas and retired from active practice fifteen years ago. He is survived by a brother, George A. Titterington, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert W. McClendon of Los Angeles. Private services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Ed C. Smith Chapel, with the Rev. Joseph M. Connally officiating.
