His name is Edward Trotter on his marriage record (he was a widower when he married Ellen, by the way), but looks like Edourd Trotier in the 1881 census and Edward Trottier in the 1891 census. There is a 14-year-old, William, in the 1881 census, who is probably a child from Edward's first marriage.
