Hannah Alice Faus and Charles [sic] W. Filder were married around 1874, then divorced after 1880. They had two children together, Retta V and John E Filder.
On Jan. 28, 1885, Hannah Alice married John Frank Persing. They had one child together, Pearl Persing.
Faus Genealogical Data and Eric von Dorster both give her death date as 4 Dec 1927, but Ancestry.com has her death certificate, which shows 4 Dec 1937 (also in Find A Grave). Her death certificate shows her as divorced from Frank Persing. She was also listed as divorced in the 1900 census (Muskegon, MI). Clark and Alice were still together in the 1880 census (Woosung, Ogle Co., IL). Von Dorster spells her first name Hanna.
The name on her death certificate is H. Alice Persing. Cause of death looks like chronic nephritis. Place of death is given as 1061 Sanford St. (home), Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI.
