Benjamin G. Gregg
FLORENCE -- Benjamin G. Gregg, 76, died Thursday in a Jacksonville, Fla., nursing home.
At the time of his retirement in 1955, he was an accountant with Florence Coca Cola Bottling Company.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in W. M. Waters Memorial Chapel with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Gregg was a native Florentine, son of the late Dr. B. G. and Katie Taylor Smith Gregg, and had been a resident of Florence all his life except for the past week, which was spent in Jacksonville.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. B. G. Gregg of Florence, the former Miss Calla Boland; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Higgins of Jacksonville; a son, Wayne B. Gregg of San Diego, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Frank H. Barnwell of Florence.
