Notes for John Watson Blackman
The Dean Andal website gave his name as John Blackburn, but Marilyn Knowles Riehl says it was John/James W. Blackman. Ancestry.com and FamilySearch have the marriage record for John W. Blackman and Julia Ann Faus (Ancestry in "Ohio County Marriage Records 1774-1993" transcribes her last name as Fans). Find A Grave lists him as Sgt John Watson Blackman.
