Notes for Norman Faus
Not sure what's going on with Norman. Family trees show a wide range of birth years for him, from 1835 to 1850. However, he is not listed with the family in the 1850 census, and in 1860 he appears to be 7 years old. Also, the Faus/Hartless Family Tree on Ancestry.com says he died in 1861 (about 8 years old, going by the 1860 census), but "Faus Genealogical Data" says he had three children, Asa Alfred, Mary, and Cal. Something is certainly mixed up.
