PEARL B. ECKMAN
Pearl B. Eckman, 69, a former employe [sic] of the retail division of the Chamber of Commerce, died at 2. a.m. today in Allentown Hospital. She resided in the Jordan Apartments.
She had been in ill health for several years and hospitalized since last December.
A native of Millville, Columbia County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Hannah (Focht) Eckman. She had resided in Allentown for the last six years.
She was a member of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church and a former teacher in the church's Sunday school.
Surviving are three sisters, Mae, wife of Bruce Eyer, Eyers Grove; Bessie, Carlisle, and Naomi, wife of Frank DeMott, Allentown, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
