Notes for Martha J. (Mattie) Davis
According to Stephen Landuyt, she died in a diphtheria epidemic shortly after her family moved to San Francisco from Hamilton, Nevada.

DAVIS - In this city, March 31, Marttie J. Davis, beloved daughter of Mrs. Sharet [sic], a native of Hamilton, White Pine county, Nev., aged 17 years and 1 month. [Eureka Sentinel and White Pine papers please copy.]
The funeral will take place this day (Monday), at 2 o'clock, from the residence of the parents, 1037 Valencia street. Interment, Odd Fellows' Cemetery.
The Find A Grave listing is for Woodlawn Memorial Park in Colma, San Mateo Co., CA. Perhaps the remains were moved later.
