Virgil Wall
Virgil D. Wall, a resident of the township for 38 years, died December 14 in Scottsdale, Ariz., just before his 89th birthday.
Mr. Wall and his family moved here from Windsor, Mo., in 1934. He was a founding member of Community Congregational Church and an active member of the Old Guard.
Before his retirement in 1966 Mr. Wall was a banking field examination specialist and consultant to the FDIC and the Justice Department in connection with major bank merger litigation.
During World War I he served as a finance officer in the U.S. Army.
The Walls moved to Scottsdale in 1972 to be closer to their two sons.
Mr. Wall is survived by his wife, Mabel W.; two sons, Virgil and William, and seven grandchildren.
