Notes for Virginia Nevada Thackston

Virginia Nevada Thackston was born 23 Mar. 1887 in Hamilton, White Pine Co., NV. She married Charles Samuel Drennen on 5 Aug. 1914, and they were known thereafter as "Auntie and Unk". Auntie and Unk had no children of their own, but were adored by generations of nieces and nephews. Unk pre-deceased Auntie in 1968, and Auntie moved to Sebastopol, CA to live with her nephew, Burris Kincaid Landuyt, until her death at age 85 on 3 Dec. 1972. Auntie is buried with Unk and her mother, Sarah, in DeSoto, Jefferson County, MO.
