Longtime Mempian Dies; Rites To Be Tomorrow
Services for Mrs. Clara Carroll Wilson of 1611 North Parkway will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Central Christian Church where she was a member. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Cosmopolitan Funeral Home has charge.
Mrs. Wilson, who was 96, died at 8 a.m. yesterday at her home. She was born in Ralls County, Mo., and had been a Memphian for 30 years. Her husband, J. D. Wilson, died 25 years ago.
She leaves two sons, Sam Wilson of the North Parkway address and John W. Wilson of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Mrs. R. K. Brommer and Mrs. C. A. Walz, both of the North Parkway address, Mrs. V. D. Wall of Short Hills, N. J., and Mrs. Carroll Wier of McGee [sic], Miss.; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
