Notes for George Heabler Jr.
There is confusion about his birth date; I have seen four different dates in February 1795. Find A Grave (listing for George Heabler Jr.) lists his birth date as 13 Feb 1795, but also has pictures of his gravestone showing that he died on 10 Jun 1875 [? hard to read] at age 80 years, 3 months, 27 days. That works out to 14 Feb 1795. Find A Grave and another place showed his birtplace as Columbia County, but Columbia County did not exist yet at that time. What became Columbia County was part of Northumberland County at that time.
