Notes for Jure (Duro) Rubesa
There is a bar through the D of Ðuro. First name is Georgius on the Rubeshaw family tree site. On a Status Animarum page from Roberto Žigulić, it looks like his name is listed as Georgy. I wonder if Jure could be a mistake? Also, Žigulić gave his marriage date as 17 Jan 1783, but on the Status Animarum page it looks like 27 Jan 1783. The Rubeshaw family tree site had 27 Jan, so I guess I will go with that.
The Genealogy Center of Kastav and Liburnia gives his name as Georgius Rubessa. They give the marriage date as 27 Jan 1783. Roberto Zigulic and the Rubeshaw family tree show his birth in 1759. The Genealogy Center of Kastav and Liburnia has his birth on 29 Mar 1766 and shows another child with the same name born on 21 Mar 1759. Birth in 1766 makes him awfully young at marriage, but on the other hand, if there were really two sons with the same name the first one must have died young. For now, I'm changing it to 1766, but it is questionable.
