Memorial Obituary - Entered into Eternal Rest Thursday, Jan. 27, 1972 - Fred Hill, 76, Dies; Rites Set
Fred Hill, 76, West Paducah, Rt. 2, Grahamville Community; died at 3:05pm Thursday at his home, following a long illnes. Mr. Hill was an employee of the McCracken County Road Department for 20 years. He retired 11 years ago. A native of McCracken County, he was the son of the late E.O. and Mrs. Elizabeth Hill. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and of the Men's Sunday School Class.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Willie B. Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Brown of West Paducah, Rt 2.
Another daughter, Mrs. Eileen Bradford is deceased. He is also survived by three brothers, Morris Hill and Trewalla Hill, both of West Paducah and Ben Hill of Kevil; two sisters, Mrs. Katie O'Brien of Paducah and Mrs. Fannie Hook of Kevil; four grandchildren Mrs. Freddie Mae Hale, Mrs. Irene Crenshaw and Jimmie and Ann Brown of West Paducah, and six great grandchildren. Funeral rites will be conducted Saturday at 2p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church by the Rev. Jewell Barrett and the Rev. Duncan Long. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Sabel, Charlie Wagner, Lee Griffin, Bill Rushing, Marvin Salisbury and Mallory Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class. Friends may all at Lindsey Funeral Home.
