Obituary for Ben Hill in the Advance Yeoman, April 28, 1993: Kevil, KY: Ben Hill, 88, of Kevil, died at 4:14pm Thursday, April 22, at his residence. Mr. Hill was a member of McKendree United Methodist Chuch and Grahamville Lodge 707 F&AM. He was a retired employee of the McCracken county road department. Surviving are his wife, Mae Hill; two daughters, Julia Smith of Kevil and Emma Farmer of Jackson, Mich.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were at 2p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Jones Funeral Home. The Revs. Don Jones and Robert Strong officiated. Burial was in Maplelawn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the McKendree United Methodist Church building fund.
