Notes for Thomas Elmore
Southside Virginia Genealogies (by John W. Pritchett, published on CD by Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc.) says that Thomas was a beneficiary in the will of his grandfather of the same name, but it is speculative that Peter is the son/father in-between. Pritchett also speculates that Peter may have had a different mother, because this grandson Thomas was not included in Jane's will (if I understand correctly).
