Notes for Matthew P. Newsom
From the Craig Gathright note under Mary Ann Newsom, it appears that putting Matthew as her brother is speculative. However, there is some support for it from DNA testing, as I am shown as a DNA match for a descendant of Madison P. "Matt" Newsom on Ancestry DNA, though following up on that lead a little bit made me think he might have been a cousin of some sort rather than a brother.
