Notes for Elizabeth Kanouse
In the 1850 census, Elizabeth (Eliz Knaus, age 20) is listed with the Roat family (James, age 38, and Anna, age 70, presumably James' mother). I don't know why she was with them, but apparently was not yet married to James.
