Notes for Mary Elizabeth Brent
A lengthy article of reminiscences from her childhood was published in:

It has a lot of interesting details about life at that time and place. Much of it is about her grandparents Garvin and their farm, but there are parts about the Brents family as well. Portions of the article were reproduced in "Brents, The Joshua Tree", and are included in the notes for her father and grandfather, John Deal Brents and Joshua Brents. Another portion, which was not in "Brents, The Joshua Tree", is included in the notes for her aunt, Elizabeth M. Brents.
