A Wilson Family Tree

Notes for John S. Sandidge

The 1880 census has a John L. Sandidge, listed as a brother of Presley Sandidge and only 27 years old. The middle initial of "L" doesn't fit. I think maybe the age is wrong in the census, and it is really John S. Sandidge. Very confusing. By the way, John and Presley are listed together in two different enumeration districts in Grayson Co., TX, in the 1880 census. In the probate case file for his mother, Marie L. Isbell, John S. Sandidge is listed, and it says he was living in Texas (in 1906), which would fit with this interpretation.
