From biography of John Talbot: Wallace L. Talbot was born in Fayette, June 30, 1891, and received his education in the public and high schools of Fayette and at the Kentucky Military School at Loiusville, Ky. He was engaged in the insurance business at Memphis, Tenn., until 1914 when he returned to Fayette and was employed as a clerk in the Farmers and Merchants Bank there. In 1920 Mr. Talbot was elected assistant cashier, which office he has since filled in an efficient manner. He was married Sept. 28, 1917, to Miss Willie Givens, a native of Fayette, and the daughter of Dr. K. K. and Nannie (Duncan) Givens. To this union one child has been born, Wallace L. Talbot, Jr. He is a Democrat and a member of the Episcopal church.
