Notes for Edmond Daniel Shadrick
I had Edward as his first name, but the Shelton Family Tree site (http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/17619820/family/familygroup?fpid=534626568) gives his first name as Edmond, and there is an image of a bible page in which his name is a little hard to read, but probably says Edmond D. Shadrick. In the 1870 census his name looks like Edmond. In the 1880 census, it looks like it could be Edmon (or Edwin). There is a transcription in Georgia Bible Records on Ancestry.com (image 443) that spells his first name Edmund.
