Notes for Sarah (Sallie) Davis
From the Parks manuscript:
Sallie Davis married Robert Harrison, also a respectable and worthy man. They raised a large family, but I am not able to even give their names.
Name of Sarah (Sallie) Davis is from Diane's Genealogy web site (http://dgmweb.net/genealogy/FGS/D/DavisJames-DeborahMiller.shtml, downloaded 20 Feb 2007). Others listed her as Sallie (WFT 137 # 299 and Settlers by the Long Grey Trail spell it Sally).
WFT 22 # 1690 listed her as born in 1760, which is just five years after her father's birth. Possibly confused with her aunt of the same name.
Note -- Settlers by the Long Grey Trail and the Trewolla Moskop Haas Mansfield Tree show the marriage between Robert Harrison and Sallie Davis on 11 Apr 1811, but "Kentucky Marriages 1802-1850" on Ancestry.com shows it on 8 Apr 1811.
