Notes for Adam Grove
Listed as Adam Grove by James Hotchkiss, Adam Graff AKA Adam Grove in posting to BRECHT-L mailing list by Harold Bright on 15 Apr 2000.
"The History of a Grove Family: The First Two Centuries in America" by Robert Neil Grove (revised edition self-published in 1990) says that Adam donated two acres of land from his farm in the Shenandoah Valley for Shemariah church. In addition to his farming, he was a trustee and taught religion at Shemariah Academy for "upwards of twenty years."
