Notes for Helen Matlack Olmsted
Many sources spell her last name Olmstead, but The “California Death Index, 1940-1997” on Ancestry.com shows her maiden name as Olmsted. Also, the Fifth Supplement to "Genealogy of the Olmsted Family in America".The Olmsted Genealogy lists her mother’s maiden name as Matlock, but the California Death Index shows it as Matlack.
Middle name is from the Alphi Phi Quarterly of Jan 1917 (obtained from Google Books). "Genealogy of the Olmsted Family in America" lists her mother's maiden name as Matlock, but the California Death Index shows it as Matlack.
