Notes for Katherine Thompson (Kate) Wilson
James Hotchkiss and "Portrait and Biographical Record of Denver and Vicinity, Colorado" spell her name Katharine, but the marriage record on Colorado Genealogical Society's "Colorado Marriages, 1858-1939" CD-ROM spells it Katherine. Also, the picture of her gravestone on FindAGrave.com shows it spelled Katherine, so that must be right. (California Death Index, 1940-1997, on Ancestry.com also spells it Katherine.)
A number of sources, including James Hotchkiss and FindAGrave.com (listing for Katharine Thompson "Kate" Wilson Brown) give her birth date as 25 Feb 1872, but Adair Wilson, in both his family bible and the Adair Wilson family record, listed her birth date as 23 Feb 1872. Also, the California Death Index gives 23 Feb 1872.

Listed as Katie T Wilson, age 8, born in Missouri, mother and father born in Missouri. Attended school within the year. Living with her parents.
