Notes for John Thomas Gathright
There is some confusion between two John Thomas Gathrights, both born in 1852, one to James Miles Madison Gathright and the other to William Henry Lafayette Gathright. WFT 5 # 1346 had John Thomas Gathright, son of William Henry Gathright, married to Mary J., and John T. Gathright, son of James Miles Madison Gathright, married to Essy Clark. However, other sources have them reversed. Carolyn Gathright and others have John Thomas Gathright, son of William Henry Lafayette Gathright, married to Essie Clementine Clark, and John Thomas Gathright, son of Miles "James" Madison Gathright, married to Mary "Mollie" Jane Williams.

John Thomas was listed in the 1860 census in Union Co., Ark.
