Funeral Services for Mrs. Faye Gathright English, 85, of Sterlington, LA., will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 3, 2004 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Hackler. Burial will follow at Monroe Memorial Park in Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
Mrs. English was born in Bienville Parish, LA on July 22, 1919 and died in Homer, LA on Monday August 30, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Sidney O. English. Mrs. English was a member of First Baptist Church of Sterlington, LA.
She is survived by her five children: John English and wife Barbara of Monroe, LA, Mary Wynn and husband Glen of Homer, LA, Venita Fountain and husband Mannon of Homer, LA, Janet Donaldson and husband Wayne of Rocky Branch, LA, Phillip English of Sterlington, LA; three brothers: Doy Gathright, B.K. Gathright, Durward Gathright, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Marshall English, Mike Jones, David Fountain, Gary Donaldson, Robert Donaldson, and Carey Butler.
Visitation will be Thursday September 2, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
