Notes for James Hardy Gathright
He died in Indian Territory. He died of the measles. He was named for his two grandfathers, James C. Gathright, and Hardy K. Poole. He was a gin man. He married second, an Indian woman. After his death, Jesse Gathright had to steal Jim's child, Lou, to get her away from the I[n]dian woman. Lou said, "she was not good to me, she burned my doll." No children by second marriage. They lived at Loe High, Indian Territory.
