David Haralson
LUBBOCK-David Haralson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 17, 2016. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 71 years on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Church on the Rock. A tribute of David's life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family. David Walter was born on April 5, 1944 to James and Ila (Gathright) Haralson in Slaton, Texas[.] on Dec. 14, 1963, David married the love of his life, Judy Keller at Monterey Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas. David was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. The joys of his life were his family and friends. He grew up in the Morton community and graduated from Three Way High School; from there he moved to Lubbock where he spent the remainder of his life. David was a plumber by trade, but his best quality was the fact that everybody that had any relationship with him loved and respected him. He was a friend to many and never met a stranger. He will be loved and missed by many. Survivors include his wife, Judy Haralson; two daughters, Julie Jones and husband, Ricky, Cindy Hamilton and husband, Jim; son, Earl Haralson and wife, Crissy; mother, Ila Ruth Haralson; six granddaughters, Kristi Rolen and husband, Blake, Courtney Buxkemper and husband, Bryce, Corey Bell, Taylor Hamilton, Faith Haralson, Lizzy Haralson; six grandsons, Randy Jones and wife, Kendall, Justin Jones and wife, Christie, Reed Hamilton, Cole Herington and wife, Tina, Zach Herington, Luke Herington; two great-granddaughters, Payten Price, Scarlett Jones; two great-grandsons, Colton Buxkemper, Weston Herington; three sisters, Karin Sullivan and husband, James, Cloie Muncy, Nelva Smith and husband, Rex; brother, Arlan Haralson and wife, Betty. He is also survived by Ricky Sanders and wife, Judy, who he loved as a son. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilton Haralson; sister, Wilta Haralson; and brother, Robert Earl Haralson.
