Another place gives birthplace as Okres Michalovce, alias Drvas Julie. In Slovakia.
Marriage is given as 19 Aug 1907 and 15 Aug 1908 in different places in the Leo Green family album. The 1930 census says they were both 21 years old when they married, which would fit better with the 1907 date. (Plus, the 1908 date is after the birth of daughter Mary.) Ancestry.com, in Pennsylvania Marriages 1852-1968, has a marriage for George Rovnyak on 19 Aug 1907 in Armstrong Co., PA, but the wife's name is given as Annie Farge. Odd, but seems like this is probably the right marriage record. Note also that Ancestry.com, in Pennsylvania Birth Records 1906-1908, has a birth record for Maria Rovnak with parents Georg Rovnak and Anna Fajkin (sp?), ages 22 and 20. Is it possible that George had two marriages and Mary had a different mother than the other children? Seems unlikely, but...
The 1920 census says she immigrated in 1904, the 1930 census says 1905. The Leo Green family album says 1902.
The name on her death certificate is Anna Rovnyak. Cause of death was myocardial degeneration (?) due to cardio renol vascular disease. She died at 1005 Seventh Ave. (home). Parents' names are given as Micheal [sic] Horcholic and Susan Foremsky.
